Even better is BTS footage, which explores the development of the feature's look and set design, examining the work put into generating a maze-like structure in a Japanese warehouse. It's a fascinating understanding of labor and execution, and it's even a bit comforting, as Kawamura admits the picture is "something I couldn't fully understand myself."
